Another NHS hospital will be unveiling its new UCV operating theatre this summer!

The MAT team has just started work on a turnkey design-and-build refurbishment project at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, due to complete in July.

We're currently stripping out existing plant and equipment to make way for the fantastic new ultraclean operating theatre.

Reducing bioburden and airborne bacteria in the operating theatre is vital for successful surgery and improved patient outcomes. Thanks to UCV technology, the incidence of deep sepsis in orthopaedic surgery has been dramatically reduced. 

Ultraclean conditions also provide significant benefits in multidisciplinary surgical procedures, reduce waiting lists, and increase flexibility for elective procedures.
