We'd like to introduce new MAT team member - Junior Design Engineer, Johnny Jarauta.

Johnny is a recent graduate from Liverpool John Moores University and holds a BA in Mechanical Engineering. He has joined us a Junior Design Engineer, with a wide range of responsibilities including reviewing existing engineering drawings of specialist equipment and the company's core product - the ECO-flow ultraclean ventilation system. Once this stage of Johnny's training is complete, he'll progress to designing the critical ventilation systems for operating theatres, building on the knowledge he's gained from canopy design work.

Johnny values the flexibility of his role, which has allowed him to assist our Business Development Director Will Evans and Contracts Director Adrian Parkin with preparing cost sheets for enquiries, broadening his understanding of construction, electrical systems, and ventilation. He also contributes to improving engineering drawings, refining MAT's brochures, and supporting other areas where needed.

Johnny hopes to become a knowledgeable engineer and a key contributor to the company. His goal is to support client enquiries directly, represent MAT professionally, and provide tailored designs and solutions, while collaborating closely with the team to tackle new challenges. Outside work, Johnny stays active by playing football and padel weekly with friends and enjoys attending live music events, including concerts and DJ performances.
