MRC Unit The Gambia

MRC Unit The Gambia

Leading health research in West Africa to save lives and improve health across the world.

The new CL3 laboratories within the MRC Unit The Gambia at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine are progressing well, from demolition to the current phase – the application of specialist internal finishes.

When completed, they will be part of the leading health research facility in West Africa, helping to save lives and improve research and evaluation of interventions for disease control among populations in sub-Saharan Africa.

We are very proud to have designed, specified and procured the ventilation, mechanical and electrical installations that will ensure the containment laboratories operate to UK ACDP and HSE standards.
