Blue sky thinking!

Blue sky thinking

MAT installation engineers had to use some blue sky thinking when faced with a weighty challenge in a recent CL3 project.

Q - How do you get a laboratory door into place when it's extremely heavy and there are access restrictions in the building?

A - You take to the air, of course!

We're currently carrying out the refurbishment of a CL3 containment laboratory at a major London university. Due to its weight and access restrictions within the building, the door had to be crane lifted into position, as you can see in this photo.
